Lorin Maazel

Mr. Maazel was a truly brilliant conductor whose interpretations I have always enjoyed listening to. He was known for being passionate and unconventional in his performances. Above I’ve included one of my favorite recordings from Maazel, a recording of Gustav Mahler’s Fifth Symphony.
